A Brief History of Honduras Coffee: Records show that coffee was being exported from Honduras as early as the 1700s. But the first commercial plantations were established in 1800s when hacendados (coffee plantation owners) started to cultivate the crop in the country's western highlands. The rainy season results in beautiful cherries, and the clear dry season during harvest allows producers to sun dry coffees once they are washed. The high-altitude weather, rich clay soil, and warm sun ensure that the integrity and quality of the beans is preserved from start to finish.

We age our green coffee beans in a local Ozark Distillery’s Apple Brandy Barrel, which gives it a unique wood cask note that tastes a little more like an aged brandy. This limited small batch roast makes a delightful “after-dinner_ coffee.
